Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 12 October 2026
Website: https://kagisoonline.com/
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Kagiso Online website and the services we provide. “Kagiso Online”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Kagiso Online (Pty) Ltd, trading as Kagiso Online, registration number 2012/130337/07, with its registered or principal address at 9139 Zwelitsha Street, Father Gerald Martin, Kagiso 2, Krugersdorp, 1754. “You” means a website visitor, customer or person acting for a customer.
Website use
You may use this website for lawful purposes and must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or submit information that is false, unlawful or harmful. Website content is provided for general information; a description on the website is not, by itself, a quote, service commitment or guarantee.
Services and agreements
Kagiso Online provides services that may include IT consulting, website design and development, SEO, computers and cellphone device repairs, cybersecurity consulting and technology training. The precise scope, deliverables, price, timetable, dependencies and any service-specific terms will be set out in a written quote, work order or other agreement accepted by both parties.
A project or repair begins only after the scope and price have been agreed and any required deposit or authorisation has been received. Changes to agreed work may affect the price and delivery date and should be approved in writing. Where these website terms conflict with a later signed agreement or accepted quote, that agreement or quote governs the relevant service.
Quotes, payments and cancellations
Quotes are valid for 30 days, unless the quote says otherwise. Prices, deposits, payment milestones, payment methods and any applicable taxes will be stated in the quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 7 days.
If you wish to cancel or reschedule work, contact us at support@kagisoonline.con as soon as possible. Any cancellation charge will be reasonable in the circumstances and subject to applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Device repairs and customer data
You confirm that you own the device or are authorised to request work on it. You should back up your data before handing over a device. Unless separately agreed in writing, repair work does not include data backup, recovery or transfer, and we cannot guarantee that data will be preserved or recovered.
You authorise us to inspect and test the device as reasonably necessary to diagnose and perform the agreed work. We will seek your approval before carrying out work that materially changes the agreed scope or price. Tell us about relevant access restrictions, existing damage and safety issues before work begins. We will handle information on devices in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Customer materials and intellectual property
You retain ownership of materials you provide, such as text, images, branding and account credentials. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for us to use them to perform the agreed work.
Unless the relevant quote or agreement says otherwise, Kagiso Online retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, templates and materials. Ownership or usage rights for custom deliverables, website code, design assets, licences and third-party components will be specified in the applicable quote or agreement. Third-party software and services remain subject to their own licence terms.
Third-party services and security advice
Some projects may depend on third-party hosting, domains, software, platforms or service providers. Those services are governed by their providers’ terms, and their availability or operation may be outside our control. We will not make changes to your systems beyond the agreed scope without authorisation.
Cybersecurity consulting and training provide guidance intended to help manage risk. No service can guarantee that a device, system, website or organisation will be free from security incidents.
Liability and legal rights
We will perform agreed services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide, unauthorised changes by others, third-party outages, or work outside the agreed scope. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful, including rights that apply under South African consumer-protection law.
Complaints and changes
To raise a service concern, contact support@kagisoonline.com and include your name, relevant quote or invoice number, and a description of the issue. We may update these website terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Changes to an existing service agreement must be agreed as required by that agreement and applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you.
